My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The small balcony in the room was perfect for smokers, but the walls were in need of some care, being dirty and sometimes even unpainted. Although advertised as noise-proof, our room by the stairs was very noisy in the mornings. The service staff were nice and welcoming, but they struggled with English and providing guidance for first-time visitors to Rome. The location was convenient for sightseeing, but the hotel reception being in a different building was a minor inconvenience. The dining experience was decent, with a self-service breakfast offering the basics. Overall, the hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives that affected the overall experience.
